Animaná means "a place in heaven" in Cacán, an extinct, ancient language of the indigenous peoples of northern Argentina. Our 100% Merino organic wool blanket lives up to its name: it is heavenly soft and has a large, open weave that creates a unique, cloudy texture. Each blanket is handmade over many hours of work by a small group of weavers in Buenos Aires. By nature, these beautiful, cosy and luxurious blankets are stain-resistant and easy to care for. Whether as an eye-catcher on an armchair, sofa or bed - wherever it lies, it lends just the right amount of cosiness and provides something to talk about.
Each one takes 2 days to complete and is made in a fair working environment from start to finish.

Good to know:
Argentine organic merino wool is comparable to precious fibres such as cashmere and alpaca for its suppleness, sheen and softness. Since wool is naturally self-cleaning, it repels water and dirt. This makes wool items extremely easy to care for and lighter colours less susceptible to stains than other light fibres.
