Story

Our Nagaland collection is made by a group of talented women in the mountains of northeast India. In this secluded region, the art of backstrap weaving has been perfected over centuries. The geometric, traditional yet completely contemporary shapes of the Naga weavings show their allegiance to one of the 16 hill tribes in distinctive patterns and motifs.

Made of incredibly soft cotton, this pillow is woven by hand and takes an entire day to complete. We help women continue their traditional heritage by providing them with employment on their doorstep and a secure, fair income.

Supplied without cushion filling.
