Our Cambodia collection is made on old, traditional looms by master weavers in a remote village in Cambodia. The women of the 'Fair Weave' community have specialized in traditional weaving and dyeing techniques for generations. All products are handmade and only local natural dyes made from materials such as coconut shells, mango leaves, ebony fruits, indigo, jackfruit wood and annatto seeds are used for dyeing.
Fair Weave now helps 60 weavers to achieve a better standard of living and financial independence and also supports the community through various initiatives such as setting up a scholarship fund for the weavers' children. We are very proud to be among the first to bring Fair Weave fabrics to Europe and to support the women in this way.

"The weavers received no recognition for their work and their efforts to feed their children. They lived in remote villages and had to travel a whole day to the nearest town to sell. These women inspired me to accompany their development path, to help them become independent and live in better conditions, and to make products together with them".
