Special unique pieces: hand woven carpets from Argentina
Our handmade carpets from the north of Argentina are true works of art. Beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces made of pure, soft virgin wool in time-consuming handwork - starting with the shearing by hand, to the spinning and dyeing of the wool with natural plant dyes from roots and leaves, to the weaving on old, traditional weaving frames - the manufacturing process is deeply original and all steps are done with thoughtfulness and attentiveness.
The weavers use designs and color schemes that are unique to Argentina. The colors of the rugs are reminiscent of the dry, sun-baked landscape in which they are created. From pale creamy white to honey hues and terracotta, the mix of different shades and individual variations gives these special textiles an organic, elegant charm.
